Careers
We believe it is important for our students to examine their values and beliefs and really think about what is important to them in a career and encourage them to think about whether they would feel comfortable ethically and morally working in any particular industry. teacher giving class student with lab equipment sixth-form student This often means making a list of opportunities they would like to have in a career and those elements they would prefer to avoid; working as part of a team or on their own, travel possibilities or to remain tied to one locality; weighing the attractions of a high salary against the satisfaction of working for a lower salary in another occupation, for example. As a student at Britannica they have access to a wealth of information and can count on the experience of the staff who have been working in the careers field for many years.
Examinations and University Entry

Britannica is a registered international centre for the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the world's largest provider of international qualifications for 14–19 year olds. Students take IGCSE examinations at the end of Year 11 and Cambridge International AS and A2 (A Level) Examinations in their final two years.

Throughout the sixth form, students are supported and advised in their application to universities both in their weekly careers lesson and in tutorials and consultations with staff. Students go on to attend universities predominantly in the UK and Hungary, but also in other countries, such as the USA, Australia and various European Universities.
