Extra Curricular Activities

The school offers a wide variety of activities in the form of after-school clubs, trips and events.

After-school clubs vary from year to year and may include the following: drama, film-making, football, hockey, volleyball, tennis, art, photography, hiking, craft, cookery and dance as well as a number of academic clubs. Ice-skating and swimming are also offered as part of the PE curriculum in winter and summer respectively.

The school offers a number of day trips in and around Budapest as well as longer residential trips further afield. These include team-building camps in Hungary, the annual ski trip to Austria, cultural trips to European cities as well as attendance at model United Nations conferences and exchanges with other schools.

The school also organises a variety of concerts and competitions throughout the year.

BRITANNICA AFTER SCHOOL POTTERY CLUB (in English) – with British based ceramicist Jutka Fischer.  For Year 3 and above in the Art Room. 10 sessions - 22,500 forints.  Parents who want to enrol their child should bring the fees to the office, along with their child's name and the class they are in and a mobile contact number.

The maximum is 7 children, and if more enrol, then they can be put on a waiting list.

Chess Club with Lili Toth, a qualified chess coach, for players of all ages in Room 28.  Cost is 20,000 Forints per child for the term.

The clubs that require payment are Aikido, Capoeira, Chess, Cricket, Dance, DramaWorks, German, Hofpro soccer, Judo, Music Theatre, Pottery, some swimming, and Tennis. 

Other information:

The Computer Club is mainly for enjoyment but aims to encourage the children to use computers responsibly.
