University Entry

From Britannica to Universities and Careers

We believe

It is important for our students to examine their values and beliefs and really think about what is important to them in a career. As a student at Britannica they have access to a wealth of information and can count on the experience of the staff who have been working in the careers field for many years.

Examinations and University Entry

Britannica is a registered international centre for the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).Throughout Key Stage 4 and the Sixth Form, students are supported and advised in their application to universities both in their careers lesson and in tutorials. Students go on to attend universities predominantly in the UK and Hungary, but also in other countries, such as the USA, Australia and various European Universities.

2017 is another year of fine results for Britannica International School. 40% of all grades achieved at Cambridge IGCSE level were at A*/A and 78% at A* to C. Ping Yao Zhu’s results included 3 A* and 2 A grades whilst Angelo Giacco achieved 3 A* grades out of three exams taken, even though he was only in Year 10. There were also some standout performances at AS and A level with Helen Li in Year 12 achieving 4 A grades at AS Level and Abir Syrus achieving 3 A grades at A level.  I would like to wish our departing Year 13 students the best of luck at University next year.
